After I have finished playing I have bar with all controls remaining displayed. I can’t close it ! and no button works.
Every time I have tried and at each time this and with different versions.
I can only close it when i restart the PC , I have never see it !
Someone have the same problem ?

Describe more precisely what’s happening.
Does this happen when you try to save? After you’ve saved successfully
and try to close? When you try to close a modified game without saving?
When you try to close an unmodified game?

Your help is welcome, I have some problems with this module for play normaly or for do my update.
Some versions worck but no the AVL-v444_solo.vmod for play "normaly "and the problem is i have use she for my udpdate, I could not know he bug before because never i have this problem with one module and upload new versions of Vassal etc… always all worck.
I summarizes the problems :
some versions no worck even playing " normally" after i close, saved or no. Saved successfully yes but the bugg is always present.
At each try, after close, i have one bar with all controls remaining by ex 5 try, 5 bars … as view above.
And can’t insert one new map in my Module update using always AVL-v444_solo after several try no worck !
and i precise i have yet all redo because problem of coffee mug , see it https://forum.vassalengine.org/t/chit-box-window-and-coffee-mug/6637/1 and if i I still have all redo again !
I am very bored with this module if you can help me please mainly for the new map i want insert for the other thing I can do with !
Finally inserting the map suddenly triggered, after many try ?? But other problem continues.

“Some versions” is not specific enough. We need to know which versions
work for you and which don’t.

There’s no need for you check any further—the problem is that some custom code in the module is failing to properly close an InputStream. This is not a bug in VASSAL; it’s a bug in the module.
I can tell from a stack trace that the InputStream returned by a call to DataArchive.getFileStream() in terrain.TerrainMap.load() at line 388 is not being closed. The caller MUST ensure that it closes all InputStreams retrieved from the DataArchive.
Please ask the maintainer of the module to fix the problem.

Hi Joel,
I can look after this request. I originally wrote AVL, but it has been updated by others users since. There have been some changes to the custom source that I don’t currently have. I will need to get myself reorganised on the new repository, there should be a copy there.

FYI to module developer - Today I downloaded AVL-v445_solo.vmod and got the same symptom as described by the OP when I quit the module. The only way I could quit the module was to kill it in the task manager. I use Ubuntu 16.04, OpenJDK Java 7, and VASSAL 3.2.16
