I’ve a problem running my module (Mac OS X Leopard / Vassal 3.1.9).
I’ve designed my module, which is running whithout any problem. I’ve decided to unpacked the module to “clean” it. That’s done, and then I wanted to run this brand new module so I packed it and …
nothing : invalid module said Vassal.
I searched on the forum : I found a solution renamming the newly zipped module in .vmod … nothing my module is still invalid.
I tried with all the 7zip, stuffit and all … nothing : still invalid …
Maybe I deleted something wrong, so I tried unziping and zipping without any change in the module : invalid …
I’m cornered, so if you have an idea for me : I really would like to clean my module …
But I don’t think it comes from the module : you see, its normally running without any problem. It’s bugging when I unpack and pack it (even without any change inside).
It’s doing the same thing with all the modules I’ve downloaded (and which are normaly working fine). But ones I unpacked and repacked them (also without any change, just to test) it doesn’t work any more …
Seems that the problem is in the way the Mac zip (or unzip ?) the files but I don’t see where. By the way, all the files are not working no more even if I use a specified software (7x, stuffit …).
The problem is that the only thing in the root directory of your “after” ZIP
archive is a directory called “Mahjong test zip 2”. You need the contents
of “Mahjong test zip 2” to be in the root directory of your ZIP archive.
