When editing a module in the new beta, I noticed that the Delete key doesn’t work, whereas it does in 3.0.17
Also, is there a way in Vassal to copy/paste multiple things at a time? You know, like in most Windows apps where you can press Shift or Ctrl to select several things to copy…
Could you give a concrete example of this, so that we can reproduce it?
Not at present. It’s not obvious how to handle the pasting of multiple
items, since not every selection could be pasted everywhere. Also, it’s
not clear what relation the pasted items should have to each other (e.g.,
if you copy a node and its great-grandchild, how should those be related
in what you get when you paste?).
Please suggest a set of rules for handling this kind of thing, if you
know of one.
I believe he’s talking about in the editor, when trying to get rid of elements/nodes, etc., we used to be able to use the del key to get rid of them, whereas now we have to use the context/edit menus. I believe it should happen in any module you’re editing.
I will work on doing this, and post it when I’m done. It shouldn’t be too hard to put together.
