Cannot get Vassal to Run

I cannot get Vassal to run on recently purchased computer.

Dell Inspiron 1535
Intel Core i3-4150 CPU 3.50 GHZ
64 Bit Operating System
Windows 8.1
Java 6 Update 45
Java 8 update 25

Get down to just one Java install, and make sure it’s 64-bit Java. See my advice here: https://forum.vassalengine.org/t/runs-once-then-nothing-windows-8-1/7256/1

Thanks. Removing the older Java version worked.
