Cannot run vassal

OS: Windows7 Professional SP1
CPU: Intel Core I5-4590
Memory: 8GB
Video:
VASSAL: 3.2.17
Java: Downloaded ltest java jre from oracle

I new with vassal.

I installed it and when i run it i have an error. A modal window with this error “the registry refers to a nonexistent java runtime environment installationor the runtime is corrupted”

That error message suggests you have a bad registry key. The simplest thing you can do which is likely to correct it (and doesn’t involve editing the registry by hand) is to uninstall and reinstall Java.
