Concatenation of vlog files

Hello,
I’m using Vassal v3.2.13 under Ubuntu Linux, mainly for PBEM games, which leads to produce a lot of small vlog files to be sent by email to my opponents.
And, I was wondering if there is a way to “concatenate” many successive vlog files, in order to create a big vlog that replays a whole game from start to end ?

Best regards,
Christophe

  1. Load the first log.
  2. Start a new log.
  3. Play through the moves in the log.
  4. Open the next log with Load Continuation.
  5. Repeat 3-4 until you run out of logs.
  6. Save the log you started in step 2.

It works great !
It’s a little tiring when you have one hundred log files to load, one after the other, but at last it does the job.

Thanks a lot.

There will be a more straighforward way to do this with V4.

Is there any news on that “more straigtforward way”?
