It only took me all day, and its not perfect, but it allowed me to get a feel for making a module. I picked something simple to start with. So I chose Stand at Mortain, a postcard wargame. For anyone wanting to try making a module, its long work. thanks guys for the help. I impressed myself with this. 
You’ll get faster.
The only thing that really can’t be sped up (yet, cough 3.2? cough) is loading all those counters in.
Getting the structure of the module and maps/charts/tables/dice etc. setup becomes second nature after a while.
