current developer branch

Now that I’ve finished porting the Reference Guide to a wiki, I’d like to start writing some junit tests for VASSAL. Which is the current development branch of VASSAL? How likely is it that this branch will eventually be released and used by the public?

The trunk will eventually become 3.2.0. I have a lot of stuff to merge
back to it from some of my branches, but if you wait for me you’ll wait
at least another 10 days, as I don’t forsee getting to it before I come
back from Lisbon.

The 3.1 branch will have at least one more release (3.1.15), just to
get rid of the hardcoded URLs which point to nomic.net for version
checking and bug reporting. Depending on whether any bugs get fixed
before the 3.2.0 release there could be more 3.1 releases, also.

If you’re going to work on the trunk, you should make yourself a
branch and work there. I’ve been handling merging back to the trunk
as a form of code review.

(BTW, do you have a SF username? I’ll add you to the project if you
let me know what it is.)
