Delayed die rolls

I’m not sure what to call this feature. Many games require one side, or sometimes both, to make hidden setup die rolls for various
features of a game. It would be nice to have a log of die rolls, but such that the contents are hidden and only revealed to one’s
opponent in a manner similar to how delayed notes work now. Maybe there’s a way to do this now, but I haven’t figured it
out.

Can’t you store the result of the die roll in a Dynamic Property (DP), display that DP in a Text Label on a piece that starts masked to other players (or is automatically flipped just before the die is rolled), then reveal the piece at the appropriate time?

I’m asking as a user, not as a programmer. I’ve not done any development on VASSAL, so I don’t understand your reply at all.
