Deleting Map Boards Component of Map Window

If you accidentally delete the Map Boards component of a Map Window, is there a way to replace it? I don’t see a right-click command to add it back in.

Interesting. I just fixed a very similar bug.

Hopefully, this will be fixed by 3.1.7.

Some components that must exist as a unique instance do not have options to add them in since they should never be deleted and must not exist more than once.

Perhaps a better solution is to disable Delete and Cut for these components?

Thus spake “Brent Easton”:

Yes. If it’s supposed to be a mandatory singleton then it should not
be possible to remove it in the first place.

The other solution is to only be able to add it if it is not already there. I think you should be able to delete it if you want.

Why would you possibly want to? Every instance where this has appeared in the forum has started with the words ‘I accidentally deleted the XXXXX and I can’t find an option to put it back’.

I’ll concede the point. Deleting BoardPicker is a bad idea.
