# Desktop Icon

The first time I ran the web launch, it provided me with a desktop icon to run the program, which was very helpful.
However, the Carcassonne module recently got updated, and I accidently opened a save file created under the old module. This wrecked Vassal. No problem, I’ll just delete all the files, and use the web-launch again.
The issue is that using the web-launch this go around, it didn’t provide me with the desktop icon. Now, in order to launch the program, I have to use the web-launch every time. Any help would be appreciated.

One solution is to download the manual installation. It does mean you’ll need to create a shortcut on your desktop however.
