There’s an official “Solved” plugin for the forum which I could install.
It lets you mark topics as Solved or Unsolved. That might be handy for the Technical Support category.

I’ve installed the plugin and enabled it for the Technical Support & Bugs category:
The way it works is that the OP and staff get a button amongst the ones at the bottom of each reply which lets them mark a post as a solution.
