I was trying to look at a module to see if I could fix a simple bug, and could not get the edit module to load. When I tried to search the forums for help I got a message that all the words were too common to search for.
I did not get an error message, nor see anything in the error log. Any ideas?

Did you have the module in question open for using/playing at the moment you tried editing it? Because that won’t work.

Make sure you are running a version 7 java on your machine. I’ve had issues with some modules not wanting to work on a laptop and took it from a 1.8 to a 1.7 version of java and it behaved better. There is also a log that is generated when a module is loaded, you may have to tune the vassal memory use to get it to work.
