Editing an existing extension

I have an extension that I’d like to remove some things from.
When I go to edit the VASSAL module I don’t see the entension contents.

What can I do?

You need to edit the extension, not the module. Select the extension in the Module Manager. You’ll find an edit option on its context menu.

And how do I do that?
I’m in Vassal, I have the extension on my desktop, but I don’t know how to edit it.

Right-click the name of the base module in your module library, then choose “Add Extension”. Navigate your file system to where the extension is saved, select it and hit OK.

The extension should now appear in the module library view nested beneath its base module and with a little gear icon next to it. Then right-click the extension and choose “Edit Extension”.
