Editor NPE problem in 3.1 beta 2

While working on some tests for Joel, I ran into a problem trying to re-open a very minimal module with the editor.

The module consisted essentially of just the name, a version number and a single board with one image.

When opening it in the editor, there was an NPE as well as a dialog entitled “Install Failed” that indicated an EOF error.

Now, the module was created using one of the svn branches, and it did have the odd property of having double quotes in the module name.

See attached.

(Note I had to change the extension from .vmod to .zip so that the forum software would allow the attachment).

Thus spake “tar”:

What do you mean by “re-open”?

Try this with svn3694 or later. I can’t reproduce the problem.

J.

It doesn’t happen with svn3698. It seems the problem has been fixed.
