I am not a module designer at all. But I need to edit an existing module for personal use. The map is very bright, and there is very little contrast between color coded elevations. Is there a way to enhance contrast between colors in an existing map?
You could extract the map from the module (modules are ZIP archives, images are in the images/ directory), adjust the contrast of the map in an image editor, and then put the map image back into the module.
How can I find the images directory?
Open the module file with any ZIP archive program, such as 7-Zip. Alternatively, Windows has native support for extracting ZIP archives.
