Expression Alert = not ready yet?

I tried out using Alert in an expression.
It worked too well.
Multiple modal popups occurred even during module editing.
I am presuming it is a new feature and still being worked on.
Can someone please confirm this (or tell me what I am doing wrong)?

No, nothing is being worked on for V3.2 at present.

Can someone please confirm this (or tell me what I am doing wrong)?

Post a minimal example module showing the problem.

Thank you for replying.

I couldn’t save a module with the problem I was having since it caused an infinite loop.

I was able to get Alert to work as best as I could. I guess it is working as intended.

I figured out a work-around that didn’t involve using the Alert.
