Free Rotation

 Concerning the rotation of the pieces, it would be nice to have the opportunity to define the number of facings while choosing free rotation.
Indeed it is convenient to use the free rotation but not always easy to position themselves.

I’m not completely sure what you mean by this.
How would you want this to work?
What would it look like to the user?

If you want fixed facings, is there a reason why you’re using free
rotation? You could just define the fixed facings.

I think some combination of the two could be useful, i.e. free rotation which ‘snaps’ to an allowed facing.

 Irishwulf replied for me, thank and sorry for the delay.

So how would that be different from just having allowed facings?

Is the difference that you can drag to rotate rather than using a key
stroke or menu item?

Yes, this difference seem to be small but if if you play a module with hundred pieces, this will be enormous!

I agree, having a hotkey for this in a large module would be far
referable to dragging.
