Game Piece Inventory Bug

I am adding a GPI to show the number of cards in several card decks and discard piles. The GPI functions as desired after starting a new game or after loading a pre-defined game. A bug arises when setting up a pre-defined game (Fig. 1). The game variants have differing numbers of cards in the decks at game start. After loading a saved deck the GPI totals the pre-existing cards and the new cards (Fig.2). A counter displayed on the map board shows the actual number of cards in the deck (Fig. 3).

As an aside, is there a better method to accomplish this or a way to auto-update the GPI?

If you want help troubleshooting this, you should make your module
available. It’s not possible to tell what’s wrong just from your
screenshots.

J.

This isn’t a problem while running the module. Just trying to point out a possible bug.

The module is an update for The Kaiser’s Pirates. There are a few more things to proof before I submit the revision.

Regardless, we can’t troubleshoot without the module.

That’s appreciated, but see above. Let us know when the module’s
available.

I’ve got a stripped down version of the module (~5 MB) that demonstrates the problem if you’d like to check it out. It’s not a problem when designing the module. It confuses things a little when creating pre-defined setups that use fewer cards than the standard game.

Where can I get it?

J.

I can e-mail it to you if that’s OK.

Please do.

Sent it Friday. Hope you got it.
