To make module creation and maintenance simpler and faster, it would be great to have an intuitive and more productive interface. When editing a module that gets beyond a simple electronic cardboard version and into implementation of mechanics or rules, there is a lot of back and forth checking required, unless you separately maintain a visual model or other supporting materials to keep track of your ‘design’.
As such it would be great to do this using an IDE with visual elements (especially for the object hierarchies created when using prototypes). I guess I am thinking of something like an OO Modeling or Java IDE style tools that would really help with understanding the module when it becomes more complex, making the detail (properties) within the ‘counters’ available as well when editing other ‘counters’ or related components.
This might be a big ask, and not sure if it has been requested before.
