Graphics issues ver 23-24

Using the latest 2 versions, I have an issue where on certain modules the Blacks have gone to Hot Pink and Lime Greens suddenly. This is on a the attached vlog file for La Bat Quatre Bras. Suggestions?

Just to clarify

All is well with version 3.2.2 and those prior to it.
3.2.3 and 3.2.4 are the ones where the problem exists.

This is due to an incomplete workaround in 3.2.3 for a Java bug. It’s
corrected in 3.2.4, but you have to clear your tile cache first. (Go
to Tools > Clear Tile Cache in the Module Manager.)

Thanks much

3.2.4 did not solve this problem for me.

With the other problem I cleared my tile cache, and both 3.2.3 and 3.2.4 produced corrupted image tiles for Memoir '44 10.8r2 module.

‘metoo’ , 3.2.4 , corrupted colours in latest Memoir44 module.

Clear your tile cache, then try 3.2.5-svn8641:

The problem you’re seeing is that my workaround for an image-loading bug
in Java is catching some images that Java loads correctly, then adjusting
them in a way which is correct only for the images Java gets wrong.

Before both 3.2.3 and 3.2.4, I did ask that people try various modules
to see if anyone could find images which were being incorrecly adjusted,
but none were pointed out to me.

Problem does not appear in 3.2.5 indeed.
Thank you!

That’s because the images show fine in 3.2.3 and 3.2.4 if they were already in the cache. Only tile images actually generated by those versions have that problem. I don’t normally tend to clear my cache as it takes long to generate the tiles. If you are late for an online meeting and forgotten to check for the tiles…

Would it be possible to add a tiling function, either the module manager tiling images in the background for all modules you have that haven’t been tiled when your computer is idle, or a menu option to let module manager open every module you have, load the tiles, and close, in batch, so you could for example run it at night?

Tried with 3.2.5-8641 and it works again.

No, it wouldn’t be impossible, but I’m not going to spend time
implementing it myself, as I’m shortly going to shift most of my dev
efforts to V4.

Thanks.
