Green highlighted board

Sorry if this is a report of some sort, I am new and just started poking around with VASSAL last night trying to learn it.
I currently am working with the Game of thrones module and I have an issue to report, if anyone else has experienced this and fixed it please inform us all.

I have a screenshot of what I see
imgur.com/ONSi3Y0

If anyone has a fix to this problem please let me know, I am not the only one dealing with it either.
If you ask me i think it has somethign to do with the versions vassal.

I have reistalled the latest version of vassal but it didnt work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Piv

Where can I get this module so I can test it?

The problem you’re seeing is caused by the fix for Bug 9882 catching
some JPEGs which it should not. (Bug 9882 was that Java’s ImageIO
gets the colorspace wrong for some JPEGs, and our fix was intended to
identify and correct those.)

Try 3.2.4-svn8619:

vassalengine.sourceforge.net/builds/

Before loading your module, clear your tile cache first. (There’s now
an option for this in the Tools menu of the Module Manager.)

Please try this build with other modules which use JPEGs as well, to
verify that we’re not causing new color-correction problems. The reason
we didn’t catch this before 3.2.3 was that people didn’t test 3.2.3
builds like I (repeatedly!) asked.

I have reistalled the latest version of vassal but it didnt work.

I cannot remember the last time we saw a problem where reinstalling
VASSAL was the solution. Doing that is a waste of effort unless you
have a specific reason to believe that VASSAL’s files are corrupted.

Thanks so much, this fixed the issue!

Contrary, has anyone been having connection problems to game rooms and loading the game board from March 31st to now?

I can confirm that the (magnificently improved) map of the 1.0 AFS module shows proper colours with 3.2.4svn8619, and the tile cache clearing works perfectly (sorry for the delay in reporting, but justly I prefer doing a major backup prior of letting a beta test release free way on the filesystem…)

dott. Piergiorgio.
