Hangs on "Sending Game info"

I’ve used Vassal in the past but only PBEM. I’m trying to do an online game and have tried with several different modules. The vassal download is brand new. The module downloads are brand new. I can make a game and then join. When the 2nd PC joins it says Synchronization complete. GOOD. I can actually do a private message between PCS. However when is says “Sending game info to (other player)” It hangs. I let it sit for a while. I am using the Vassal Server too. Not peer to peer so I don’t think it is a firewall thing.

Any ideas?

I figured it out. I had to start a game after I made the room. Then the other pc could join and the game would launch.

if I didn’t start a new game after I made the room it wouldn’t launch.
