Help - always losing connection to VASSAL server.

When I’m not at home I can’t see if I lose connection in Vassal.

Could you try using VASSAL from somewhere other than home to see if
you still get disconnected?

I’m afraid no

The problem is either with your computer, some network infrastructure
between you and us, or with our server. If you can’t isolate any of
the parts on your end, there’s not much else I can suggest. Sorry.

J.

Yes, I understand.
My colleague has been working well with Vassal until FHHT has improved. I think the problem is that Vassal fails to maintain active connections to FHHT. My colleague and I type anything in the chat every few seconds to keep the connection active. If we stop for a minute or two, we lose the connection to the server.
I’ll try to isolate the problem and tell you.

Thanks

Do you and your friend have the same ISP? same model of router? My
guess is that the problem lies there.

J.

Yes. The same ISP and same router. Comtrend v2 11n FTTH.

If you’re both having the same problem and you share an ISP and model
of router, then I put good odds on the routers, your ISP, or some
network operator with which your ISP has a peering agreement being at
fault.
