I just started on this forum today and never have seen or played a vassal game in my life. SO, I am totally new at this. I can’t find to upload a module any place on the site.
Can someone direct me or explain in great detail how to do it please?

I have already downloaded the vassal software. But do not know how to download the modules.
I am trying to download: World in Flames
Just click “Modules” at the top of this page for the complete library. Here’s a direct link to World in Flames
vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:World_in_Flames
Since you have the Vassal engine already installed, just download the .vmod and double-click. It will run automatically and be included in your Module list when you start Vassal in the future.
I go to the upload page and try to upload it but it does not work. How do I specifically use the upload page? Literally line by line what do I have to do or type. I just keep getting a error.
If I had to guess I am not filling out the upload form correctly or completely. But I do not know how to fill it out and it does not clearly say how to do it.
Like I said I am new to vassal.
What are you trying to upload - filetype? What is it’s extension?

I am trying to upload world in flames. See the link above that Dr.N posted. Extension? Not sure what you are asking about.
I click on the world in flames vmod and it takes me to the upload page. I click on the upload button and I get a error.
I have left the source file name blank so far b/c I am not sure what to enter. The error highlighted in red says the following:
The file you uploaded seems to be empty. This might be due to a typo in the file name. Please check whether you really want to upload this file.
I suspect I need a file name or something but not sure what to enter.
I use Firefox, I just uploaded vassal couple days ago. I have 1GB ram and Pent 4, 3.0 GHZ computer. I am not a IT genius so assume I don’t know shit and you will not be far off. LOL
On the page that Dr Nostromo posted earlier, scroll down a little and under ‘Comments’ you will see a link that says ‘Also available here.’
Click that link. It will take you to the web site where the World in Flames module is kept.
Click the “Product” button, then click the little picture on the right of that page to download the module.
The World In Flames module is offsite as Mycenae indicates.
This is because the module is too big to upload and has to be done by Joel
who has direct access to the server. He is aware of this as we have several
modules that fall into this category that I have stored for direct upload
when he has time to do it.
