How we should handle automatic bug reports

I’m starting to look at the bug reports generated by the automatic bug
reporting in 3.1.0-beta3.

Observations:

  1. People mostly don’t bother to type a description, and when they do the
    description tends to be to imprecise to be useful.

  2. There are a lot of duplicates.

I kind of expected both of these to happen. Something I’m thinking about is
if there might be a way to handle duplicates automatically…

Anyway, in an effort to start dispatching these, I’m going to begin
categorizing them and assigning them as seems appropriate. If I assign
you something which you don’t want, unassign yourself from it.
