Trying to download Empire of the Sun module and getting the following security warning that’s blocking the download:
Is this expected?
There’s a problem at our hosting provider currently:
Linode Status - Emerging Service Issue - All Services - US-EAST (Newark)
They’re working to resolve it, and things should go back to normal once they have. There’s nothing we can do about it in the meantime, as it’s not a problem with anything we control.
You should find the problem has been fixed now.
Microsoft Edge and Google are blocking module downloads as well.
Having the same problem, i got this message that the certificate had expired:
net::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID
Subject: obj.vassalengine.org
Issuer: R13
Expires on: 4 Dec 2025
Current date: 5 Dec 2025
So all the web browsers i have tried all block any access to downloading any module. From the above data the certificate needs to be updated by the look.

The problem is that the automatic certificate renewer didn’t renew the certificate for our object storage. This is the first time the renewal script has run since we upgraded our server in August, so we hadn’t caught that it was broken. It’s fixed now.
