I have downloaded the latest version of VASSAL today and have attempted to download and play modules. The modules, all with the suffix vmod, download to the computer okay but when I try to import them into the game, I get the following message The version I am using 3.2.16

“Invalid Import File. … This file [file name] cannot be imported into VASSAL”

JRE version build 1.8.0\_112-b15

Windows 10 Home is my operating system

What am I doing wrong please?

Import is for converting modules from other formats. Open VASSAL modules
with “Open Module”.
