Is this a problem with Apple and not Vassal?

I am working on a module. I am designing it in 3.2.15.

I have an inventory window that shows the card image in it. I attached a picture of what it looks like. On the left is how I see it. On the right is how another user sees it:

I am using Windows 7 with Java 7 Update 17. He is using a Mac and El Capitan (10.11.6) with the latest Vassal and Java versions.

Are you aware of this problem and is it a Mac problem?
