Sorry if this sounds newbish… is this the ONLY forum for VASSAL? I saw somewhere that there’s a Yahoo Vassal group??? How do I reach that? Is there more info there???

The vassalengine Yahoo group has been superceded by this forum. You can still view the archives there for interesting history, but most active posters have moved from there to this forum.
Thanks for the quick reply… many moons ago I joined that usergroup… and then unsubscribed, yet I still get emails everytime someone posts there… but so glad there’s a forum now. Will any of those old discussion be brought over here under an archive of some sort?
Porting the existing Yahoo messages over is probably not worth the effort; Many changes are being made to Vassal so you’ll want up-to-date information anyway. You can always head over to Yahoo if you feel you really need to dig deep.
Otherwise, if you have a question you’re probably better off asking here.

I could get the whole Yahoo group archive as an mbox, and if I remember
correctly mail2forum reads mboxes as input, so you could dump it in that
way if you wanted.
