I’m writing on behalf of jw62 who sent me a note in the news that he can’t get on the site via his regular IP address …he has to use a VPN. I told him, via an E-mail address he has attached to one of his modules, that I’m just the news editor and he should contact Joel Uckelman and gave him a link to Joel’s profile page so that he could just that. The E-mail, sent to a windstream.net address was kicked back and I have since deleted the news submission.
With no other recourse to assist jw62, I thought I’d post a note here in hopes that the appropriate minds can get together and work this out.

I saw the email last night. I need more details about what’s happening.
What is he seeing? We’re not manually blocking IP addresses, so I’m
not sure what could be doing that.

All he said was that he couldn’t access the site using his regular IP address. It was included in his message and I should have copied it but once I sent him an E-mail to talk to you, I deleted it. That’s when I found out the E-mail was kicked back.
I assumed that so I’m guessing it’s something your ISP is blocking or some other external process going on. Wish I could give you more info. He said he can connect via a VPN so I’m assuming he can still login and I’m confused as to why he would have trouble sending an IM or posting on the forums. He sent me a news submission as a way of explaining his problem so it seems he can login.
