Mark starting position of counter when moving it


I’m one of the new guys, started yesterday creating a module for CY6! In this game a plane (counter) moves after the player has selected a maneuver code and I want the player to move the plane by hand.

So is it possible to “drop” a marker when I move the plane out of a hex, giving me a visual representation of where I started?

And I was thinking about making a global clean up and/or a specific player command for removing the starting positions again.

But first I have to create them, any one that will give this noob a hint? :wink:
