# Moderators

It looks like moderating the first few posts of new users has successfully defeated the spammers which had been plaguing us. Now that we’ve established that, we could use a few responsible volunteers to act as moderators. All this amounts to is periodically checking the forum for new posts in the moderation queue and determining whether they’re spam or not (which is shockingly easy).

Any volunteers?

I would be happy to help, as long as it as easy as you say. How frequently would you need me to check the queue?
