I’m new. Furor Barbarus, the Campus Mauriacus scenario, seems like it would be a simple first game. It’s a.k.a. the battle of Chalons, a.k.a. the Catalaunian Plains; Attila vs. Aetius (“The Last Roman.”) An introductory game from Vae Victis magazine.
PBEM, maybe 2 or 3 moves per week. I’m in no rush if you want more time, but it’s a small and quick game.
I have the hard copy game, and have downloaded the module and played it solo, but there’s likely to be a learning curve.
