Next War India Pakistan stacking bug

Hi,

My friend and are playing a game of GMT’s Next War India Pakistan using Vassal. When we first began the module included a handy feature that enabled you to expand and view the composition of whole stacks using the mouse, but after recent updates to the Vassal engine that feature no longer seems to work (except on stacks on the Game Record track - i.e. reinforcements).

Can someone let me know if we are doing something wrong or if a bug has been introduced which may be fixed?

This is obviously not a game breaking issue but it does make play more cumbersome so any help would be appreciated.

Hi John,

Thanks for your report. I have been able to confirm that this stopped working in the change from version 3.3.2 to 3.4.1. I have raised a Bug Report and we will investigate.

There is a work-around that requires changing the module which I will pass on to the module developer, but this should not have stopped working, so we are looking into it.
