Morning folks.
Yesterday I rebuilt my PC, I saved everything off that I needed (or thought I did!) and then flattened it and re-installed.
My problem comes with VASSAl and my password. I cannot remember what my password was, and my PREF file has gone so I I cannot see it any more. I have tried all the likely candidates, but nothing so far. It means that I cannot access my player info in the games that I’m half way through.
Has anyone any experience of cracking the password out of the save file, or is there some way round it? Normally I’d just say “what the heck” and start again, but this is a tourney and I’m doing ok!
