Installing Vassal for older MacOS machines

Mac users on Catalina (MacOS 10.13) reported being unable to install Vassal beyond 3.7.9. From those reports the following solution emerged: Step by step (replacing “3.7.12” in steps 5 & 6 with the version of Vassal that you install): Note, you will need to repeat this process whenever you update Vassal.
