Positioning x/y

Hi all,

I’m very new to Vassal and really struggling to work out how it works. I’m slowly getting there though.

One thing (I’ve searched the wiki and help and forums) I can’t work out is how do I align things? I’ve got say 5 decks that I want in specific positions. I have no idea wher the X position and Y positions will put things. Is there any easy way to position objects?

The easiest way I’ve found is to use a graphics program of some kind to positing things where you want then transfer the X, Y information in the graphics program over to Vassal.

I think I’ve worked it out, I did up a grid back grouond in photoshop and now I can align stuff. Cheers,
