I’m tying to make minor amendments a map using pieces that don’t stack or move. It would be great if I could get them to remain on the board when the ‘hide pieces’ button is clicked. Is there an easy way to do this?

What we really need is a way to create map layers for overlays…

Can be done using game piece layers.
Define 2 layers - Units, Overlays
Place all pieces you want to hide on the Units layer by using a marker trait
Place all overlay pieces on the Overlay layer using marker trait
Define the hide button to only hide pieces from the layer Units
Voila
