Problem with level follows expression in layer with dynamic property

Hi
I’m trying to create a simple marker with 6 possible images represented on a layer.
The layer has the “Levels follows expression value” set to mapINDEX, where mapINDEX is a Dynamic Property (here below the picture)

When i select one of the menu items associated to the Dynamic Property, I was assuming the layer was also changed accordingly, but instead the layer is not changing, keeping the initial image set at the start.
Do I need to do something to “refresh” the layer, so that it reads the new value of the Dynamic Property or do I miss something ?

You must specify a Key Command for any trait to work. If you do not wish to provide the user with a shortcut keystroke, then use the Named Command field for this.
