Prototype

As part of my struggle to get something working, I think I need to use a prototype in my counters. From looking at other modules, it looks like that if I have a class of general units (ground units, for example) that all share several features (“can be marked out of supply”, “can be marked disrupted”, etc etc), I should make a prototype definition, and put those attributes into the prototype definition.

Then, when making a counter, I can simply add the named prototype and then the counter has all the functions I need.

Do I have this right ?

Correct.

Prototypes cut down the amount of work you have to do.
It’s always a good idea to evaluate everything you are going to do first and
look for all the common denominators
