I added a couple of fields to the counters using Prototypes, when I run the refresh predefined setups it does not add those fields to the setups but instead gives a warning for every counter on the map.

It also wrecks counters with multiple text fields by taking the first field and applying it to the second and third fields in this case. The before:

The after:

I’m a bit skeptical that anyone can speculate on what happened here without considerably more information:

1. the Refresh Predefined Setups has a number of options–which were used?
2. what did the piece prototypes look like before (are these Text Labels?)
3. what did the piece prototypes look like after–i.e., what all did you add?
4. what was the text of the warning for every counter?

Did you make a backup of your module before running the refresh setups tool?

Those are text labels used only for informational purposes for a campaign. Sending a video to Joel Uckelman via messenger!

I don’t trust myself in my late 60s at the end of a 45 year Info Tech journey! 😉

Here is the module if you want to review it, I removed everything but the Somme Campaign that has the text field pilot info.

We can’t help if you don’t show us the code.

There is no code involved, running the refresh changes text fields when the counter has 3 fields in it.

Hmm. Sounds like a bug that’s above user or module-designer level.

It doesn’t appear that any of your Text Label traits are using the Description field. This is what allows the following option of the Refresh Predefined Setups tool to distinguish between multiples of a trait:

So the reason it replicates to the other fields is that I have not changed them?

So what needs to change in the default text field to make them different enough it does not flood the other 2 fields"?

Compare how two Text Label traits appear in the trait stack–the opened one with a description filled in _vs_ the other one (circled in green) that lacks a description.
