I saw that. I would have preferred it to be a module option not a user option as these trails were never intended to be seen. I think found a workaround though. Ironically, changing all maps to always mark pieces as moved then hiding that button did the trick. That allowed me to add a Mark as Moved trigger immediately after every Send to Location. The trail seems to be wiped too quickly to be noticed.

I agree that makes more sense as a [Global Options] setting.

I may be able to make it a [Global Options] setting without needing to wait for 3.7

I gather that as far as most closely duplicating the way Send to Location worked “in the past”, the correct “default” would be that it Send to Location should generate a movement trail? Or is it the default that it should NOT generate a movement trail?

It generally DIDN’T create a movement trail so that would be the default to me. It doesn’t really matter though if there is global checkbox.
