Screen Tearing Issues

I am experiencing screen tearing issues with every module I have loaded into vassal.

OS Windows 10
Memory 8GB
CPU Intel I5 4440
Video AMD Radeon R7 200
Vassal 3.2.16
Modules Mage Knight 3.0.3
Ghost Stories 1.19
Java Version Tried 6,7 and 8 series Java had screen tearing with all versions

Please help with this issue as it is very frustrating,

I moved my system disk recently and had to reinstall Java. Even though I installed a newer Java the VASSAL script still loads the Apple supplied 1.6 instead of the installed 1.8. I modified the VASSAL.sh so it loads the latest Java 1.8.

With the Java 1.6 I get the screen tearing issue. With Java 1.8 it works fine. I suspect maybe you load the old Java even when you think it’s using a newer Java? You should look at Help menu > Show Error Log. It lists the Java version loaded.
