# Send Signal Feature

There used to be a feature in Vassal that would let you send a sound signal to someone who online in the same room but not responding - perhaps because they didn’t know they were no longer alone. That feature is gone now. Can we have it back?

I wasn’t aware we’d remove that. What was the last version in which you  
saw it?

I have some vague memory that it may have been removed as it was being  
abused.

I also have some vague memory of having a discussion about that, but  
with a little searching I don’t find anything in the change log which  
looks relevant. Any idea what I should be looking for? (Or in the code,  
what the name of any relevant class might be/have been?)
