"Send To Location" Capability?

Is there a way for Vassal to know what terrain is in a hex and use that information to modify the destination of the “Send To Location” command?

The game I am working on is hex-based but uses different “battle boards” for the units to go to for combat resolution, and the battle boards vary according to the terrain in the hex. Each battle board would be a separate Map Window and ideally there would be only one “Send To Location” command in all the unit’s prototype definitions, which could be directed to the correct Map Window dynamically, based on the terrain definition of the hex the units are in on the Main Map.
