I’m thinking about getting an SSL certificate for [vassalengine.org](http://www.vassalengine.org) so that we can secure the login page etc. I don’t want to go with a self-signed cert because that’s going to throw up a warning dialog for everyone when they visit the site

Does anybody have any opinions about where to get one? So far I’ve found:

[_] [GoDaddy](https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/ssl/ssl_opensource.asp) offers free certs for open source projects.[/_]
[_] [StartCom](http://cert.startcom.org/) also offers free certs[/_]
