Thanks to whoever implemented Windows file associations (Joel?). I’m opening log-files directly from gmail, a two-click process! I can’t believe how amazing this is, still trying to get used to it. But it appears saving log-files is not yet enforcing the standard file extensions? Opponents are sending me back all sorts of weird and wacky user-defined things. 
Not a big deal, I can educate them.
But WOW, can’t believe how good 3.1 is turning out. Thanks all.

filename given for a save or log.

(The file dialog code always makes me frown every time I see it… We need
to do something about (1) getting it all in once place, and (2) making native
