My old laptop died and d/t the problems of getting a new one I bought a refurbished Dell w/ W10 OS. I’m trying to dl the vassal engine but it’s being blocked as “it may harm your computer.” I tried 3.5.6 and 3.5.7 with the same message. I sent MS responses that I believe the site is safe (I’ve been using vassal for 2 decades now.) So how do I get around this?
I’m not sure quite what the relevant dialogs look like on Windows. Are you seeing anything like screenshots here?
Also, if you’re running 64-bit Windows, you should download the 64-bit VASSAL, not the 32-bit one.
