Variable Area of Effect question

I am working on the Combat!2 module and would like to make a visibility Area of Effect for the character counters. Easy enough except that visibility is random based on time of day and weather. I have a global property set up where I can enter the range, but how can I get that value in to an Area of Effect? My efforts have failed so far.

Variable AoE can be done. Maybe start by posting here the Area of Effect setup that you’ve entered in the editor.
